Camping in National Parks In NSW

Camping in a National Park of New South Wales allows you to fully experience the true Australian bush. There are areas close to urban centres and there are places that seem a million miles from anywhere. Bonnie Vale campground is in the Royal National Park a short ferry ride from Cronulla on the edge of Sydney but Barrington Tops is the complete opposite. Barrington Tops is a magical place if you are looking for some solitude. A true wilderness area a few hours North of Sydney and a little bit inland.

Camping in a National Park is allowed in most parks but only in designated areas. The facilities available vary for each camping area or campground. For more details of areas where you can camp in a National Park information can be found at the National Parks website here but the Wildwalks website here is a more practical site for information.
